Bài 1 · Điền từ

Điền a / an / the hoặc — (không cần mạo từ). Gõ dấu gạch ngang '-' nếu không cần mạo từ.

Bài 3 · Nối câu

Sửa câu dính dấu phẩy bằng từ trong ngoặc.

Bài 4 · Dạng từ

Viết dạng đúng của từ trong ngoặc (danh từ chỉ người, danh từ, động từ, tính từ hoặc trạng từ).

  3. 3. The country's growth has slowed in recent years.(economy)

Bài 5 · Viết lại câu

Tránh lặp danh từ: viết lại câu thứ hai, thay phần bị lặp lại bằng cụm trong ngoặc.

  1. 1. Governments should tax empty flats. Taxing empty flats would encourage owners to rent them out. (This measure)
  2. 2. Young people and older people use technology differently. Young people learn new apps very quickly. (The former)
  3. 3. Some companies offer housing allowances. Companies that offer housing allowances attract more graduates. (Such companies)

Nghe chép chính tả. Chú ý mọi âm cuối -s, -ed. Nghe tối đa 3 lần.

Nghe giáo viên và học viên xem lại bài viết lại (hai giọng). Chọn đáp án đúng.

Bài 8 · Đúng / Sai (True / False)

Nghe lời khuyên về danh từ không đếm được (độc thoại). Chọn Đúng (T) hoặc Sai (F).

Nghe bài (thi thật chỉ nghe 1 lần — cố gắng làm sau lần nghe đầu):

  1. 1. You can say 'an advice'.

  2. 2. "Two pieces of information" is correct.
