Biểu đồ tròn cho thấy các PHẦN của một TỔNG. Bạn cần nhiều cách nói 'chiếm X%' để không lặp: account for, make up, represent (chủ động, không bị động). Dùng phân số để bài tự nhiên hơn: 26% = just over a quarter; 48% = nearly half; 65% = roughly two thirds. Với danh từ không đếm được sau 'X% of' động từ chia số ít (30% of the money WAS…); danh từ số nhiều thì chia số nhiều (30% of exports WERE…).

- account FOR (có for); make up (không có of ngay sau: make up 20% OF exports); represent (không giới từ).
- Hai biểu đồ tròn hai năm → có thay đổi: 'The share of X rose from 20% to 35%' (dùng ngôn ngữ xu hướng Buổi 26).
- Mixed charts: overview phải nói về CẢ HAI biểu đồ; nối hai biểu đồ bằng 'This is reflected in the table, which shows…'.
